About Me

With many years’ experience I am able to see a wide range of clients with many different presenting issues, from anxiety and stress to relationship issues, bereavement and depression. I have extensive experience of working with teenagers and young adults due to my work as a counsellor in both further and higher educational settings. I am particularly interested in attachment and loss, in all its forms.

As well as working with individual clients I also teach counselling, from the basic level with theory and skills, to overseeing my students personal and professional development in their final year before qualifications at DipHE level. I also teach Life Coaching and stress management which I can incorporate in to my client work.

I have a degree in Humanistic Counselling BA (Hons ) and a Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Person Centred).

My approach puts the client at the centre of the therapeutic relationship.
